Description

This is a 1993 Ford E-150 Jayco Conversion van/week ender. This means it has more than a conversion van such as an exterior 30 amp hook up and heavy duty 30 amp exterior/shore power cable an over head ac unit that blows ice cold a sepearate battery that also assists with the refrigerator when turned on. A working portable pump sink and grey water protable tank. A higher high top (about 5.7 inches in most of the back stand up area 5.4 probably just under the ac unit. It also has dual benches in the rear that fold/flip very easily into a large comforable bed. It also has a tv and hook ups or a dvd or vhs (it is a 1993 :) ).This van runs and drives excellent WHEN it is running right (50% of the time?).The brakes have been completlly redone including rotors and rear wheel cylinders and hardware. It has a recent new radiator, recent alternator and recent starter and it has 4 matching Michelin tires with great tread. I would not be afraid to drive this truck 400 or 500 miles tomorrow. That s all the good. A great starting point for an almost class b but not quite a conversion van. THE BAD is it will probably need a new transmission soon but it has been acting up since I bought it 3 years ago but also has started to slip now from 2d to therd? or maybe it is between 3 and od ( I can't remeber but not both) and sometimes goes into limp mode and only has 2nd 3rd and od but is actually better then. you just shift into second and it starts of there petty smoothly --not slowlt like in regular 3rd gear limp mode.It will also probably need a new exhaust system from front to back but I still can't find exactly where it is leaking from yet.I can hear it but can't feel it when reaching by hand. The side and rear doors can oly be pened from the inside. They will need new main doors $50 to $100 at local pick a part or buy the required parts and fix the cables, handles and or linkage it needs. It does have 147,000 miles on it now but like i already said even with the sometimes tempremental, probably fading transmission, it is still a pleasure to drive. This is a very hard to find Jayco Weekender hard to find class b that is missing a bathroom and plumbing and has no propane, hot water heater or plumbed gas or water system. I still really don't want to sell this van but the First $6500 owns it. That price is NOT negotiable. See comprable Class B's going for $15k and up and do the math on what options mine is missing and how much value it is to you.I can show it most afternoons.
