2013 Itasca Ellipse 42GD
The Ellipse is Itasca’s version of the Winnebago Tour. This coach is loaded with top of the line cherry woodwork, high end countertops and tile floors. This is the 42GD floorplan that includes the largest bathroom on any Winnebago/Itasca coach. Plenty of room with an oversize shower and lots of room around the sink and toilet, really nice for extended camping. The 42GD has the kitchen in the front of the coach which is easily accessible during travel for snacks and drinks. Having the kitchen in the front also moves it away from the bathroom which we like a lot. The Itasca Ellipse 42GD is equipped with the Cummins 8.9L ISL diesel engine rated at 450 hp and 1250 ft-lbs of torque. This is not the little Dodge pickup engine. Cruise down the interstate at whatever speed you choose regardless of whether you are towing something or not. Plenty of power for hills, legendary ISL reliability. All required maintenance has been done on schedule since new. Oil and filter, fuel filters, and air filter changed in June 2020. 10,000 watt Onan generator serviced June 2020 including oil change, oil filter, fuel filter, and air filter.
