Description

One of a Kind, Vintage Sportsmobile Camper Van with low miles We bought this van about a year ago. It is a 1992 Dodge 350 one ton van. It had one owner before us. He was an older man in California who took amazing care of this Sportsmobile, including garaging it the entire time. We have of the original purchase paperwork (including picture of when he picked up the van in Fresno) and all of the  maintenance paperwork is. We have had it for almost a year, and have enjoyed it, but haven’t used it as much as we had planned and don’t have a place to store it. Rather than just let it sit in our driveway, we wanted to find “INDY” a good home. This would make a great van for anyone who wants to live the vanlife. I looked a long time for this van and have not seen one like this anywhere before. The only one that I have seen that is this similar year and paint style is one that is not an extended van like this one. Below are all of the specs on this beauty: Pros:

  • Strong engine – only 92,856 miles on odometer
  • Extended Van for a bigger sleeping area
  • Super Cold AC
  • All of the blinds and drapes are present and work
  • Manual Pop Top that is super easy to raise and put down and no rips and no mold
  • Sleeps 4
  • Seatbelts for 10 passengers
  • 2 top burner
  • Sink
  • 30 gallon Water tank with pump
  • Brand new Bosch water heater
  • Paint is still in good condition
  • No rust – only been in California and Arizona
  • Interior is pristine and everything works
  • New front end work recently done
  • 2 Tables
  • Working Fridge
  • Working Microwave
  • Storage/Closets
  • Front seats swivel
  • Second battery (in back that I had a line put in from the car batter to this battery so that it charges while driving)
  • Electric connector so you can run the van off 30 amp circuit
  • City Water Connection
  • Internal Propane tank with connection option for outside grill
  • Gray water tank
  • New lower ball joints put in July 2020
  • New idler arm, center link, and power steering gear box
 Cons:
  • Someone took the generator off of this van, so you would need to replace this. I was planning on putting a plug in it so that we could use solar.
  • Cabin AC (this is separate from the main AC) may need some work. I haven’t been able get it into a shop. Works fine while driving, but have not used it when camping.
