We purchased this motorhome specifly for extended travel.  Last summer we drove it to Alaska and back for a 2 2/2 month trip.  We put on 11,122 miles with a Honda Crv behind and averaged 13.5  mpg.Driving arount 62 Mph. Now has 37,600 miles.  This was a once in a lifetime trip and the View handled it very well.  We left with 2 new coach batteries and occasionally boondocked since many Provincial Parks have no facilities and they stayed well charged overnite with lighting, furnace running and coffee maker and toaster in the morning.  The rear queen bed is very comfortable.  The movement without jacks is very tolerable and only used blocks for leveling a few times. Driving the highways with heaves and constructions zones of gravel and mud were not a problem.  Most of the roads were noisy because of chip and seal construction instead of true blacktop.  We added seat cushions for the front seats so that they would bring the seating height closer to the table for dining. Very comfortable for living and driving.  The unit is ready to go with upto date maintenence,  fresh oil change, fuel filter, engine filter, and all batteries have been replace in the last year.  Includes a suitcase solar panel which we only had to use once.Small solar panle to keep engine battery charged while stored.  Extras include:Tv in bed rook,   Rand Mcnally GPS on top of the dash. Roof mounted automatic Direct Tv Satellite (receiver & subscription needed) Blue Ox tow bar, You will need a new umbilical chord and braking system.  One rear wheel simulator missing won't replace.
