Description

This is a great big little motorhome, the perfect compromise between too big to go shopping and too little to live in!

The unique features of this VIA 25R are: a driver's door and the drop-down bed, BigFoot automatic hydraulic levelers, and a hinged bed so you can store linens and cushions under it.  It is also wired for a macerator pump. There is plenty of outside storage, including the big compartment on the rear of the driver's side above the wet bay, where we store the expanding ladder and the table, along with the 'camping box', tools, flat-folding chairs, etc.  And the big closet on the inside was the clincher for us.  Plenty of room to hang the clothes for two couples, and store all the bulky things you want easy access to.  The overhead cabinets that run the whole length of the slideout provide plenty of room for everything you may care to take along.

This is the only Class A built on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter Chassis, so it gets great mileage!  14 to 16 MPG depending on how fast you drive on the highway, which is double or more what most motorhomes manage. At 25 feet it is easily maneuverable when shopping so you can manage without a toad.  Don't worry about the mileage, it just means that this vehicle has proven itself reliable, and will give many more years of trouble-free service with routine maintenance.

What we like about this Via floorplan is how big it feels with the full wall slide out, and how many people it comfortably accommodates.  We have had 9 people comfortably watching the big TV, we have had two couples and 2 kids comfortably sleeping on the two queen beds and the couch bed for the kids.  The bathroom is surprisingly functional, the kitchen is small, but we have workarounds to easily cook full meals and wash up afterward.  There is an amazing amount of space for all those people to eat at the two tables.

We have boondocked for four days straight, running the generator only to use the microwave and air conditioner.  This is a very capable, well thought through, well designed, and well built MH.  Video here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrJSwsljalY&feature=youtu.be
