Since 2019, three RV sites have been upgraded to deluxe patio sites with a paw pen and an additional thirteen sites provide patios. Another way to enjoy the Green River KOA is in one of the six cabins at the park. Five of these cabins are one-room cabins that sleep up to four guests. The six cabin, newly added in 2022, is a deluxe cabin that sleeps up to six guests. Amenities of the cabin include a partial kitchen, full bath with shower, two smart TVs and patio space with outdoor furniture and a fire pit. Currently, the park has the utilities set up for three additional deluxe cabins for immediate upside. In addition to RV sites and cabins, campers can experience the park in one of the 14 tent sites.
The park’s ideal location gives travelers easy access to the campground as they travel east/west along Interstate-70. While staying at the Green River KOA RVers can visit Arches National Park, Canyon Lands National Park, the San Rafael Swell, Goblin Valley State Park, Dead Horse Point State Park and many others all within an hour or less drive. In addition, exploring canyons, hiking, biking and backpacking are all popular activities in the area. For guests looking to get in the water, guests can access the Green River within 20 minute from the park with activities ranging from a relaxing float, kayaking, paddleboarding to a more intense rafting experience on the river. After a day exploring the area, campers will come back to the park and experience amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry open 24 hours, a pool, playground, pickleball, basketball and newly remodeled showers.
