Description

RobinHood Village Resort has been a Northwest Tradition since 1934. Fifteen B-n-B style cottages on 7+ beautifully landscaped acres generate more than $700,000 in yearly rental income. Our Waterfront resort, near Alderbrook Resort and Spa in Union Wa., offers a unique opportunity to our guests to explore the Hood Canal which is the only Fjord in the lower 48 states. And offers a buyer an unique opportunity to own and manage a true piece of history and paradise. You will fall in love with the grounds, the view, the charming cottages and the returning guests! The remaining undeveloped land provides an opportunity to double the rental income. Included in the Resort is the Historic RobinHood Restaurant/Pub which has been a beacon for live music for decades.
Robin Hood Village Resort in Union, WA is situated on the Shores of Hood Canal with owned shoreline access. The Resort was first established in 1934 when Don Beckman, the set designer for the original Robin Hood Walt Disney movie starring Errol Flynn, built the Robin Hood Restaurant and the first two historic cottages. “Forbes Traveler” named Union, WA one of the top 10 “prettiest towns” in the USA. The Hood Canal has long been a gateway to recreation... hiking, kayaking, golfing, scuba diving, birding, boating and hunting shellfish. Many of our guests use Robin Hood as a base camp to the Olympic National Park, the location of several world class hikes including Mount Eleanor, Mount Rose, Mount Washington and countless others. Guests return from their hiking to relax and soak their tired muscles in their private hot tub.
Today, Robin Hood Village Resort boasts 15 well appointed, freestanding cabins, most with private hot tubs and many with full kitchens. Our guests mostly consist of returning couples, from the city, in need of a relaxing, and refreshing "nature getaway", or just relaxing by a campfire and soaking in the private hot tubs Guests from both Seattle and Portland can drive in about 1.5 hours which makes our destination an easy trip and one that many of our guests enjoy several times per year. The Resort features both Hood Canal Waterfront and a breathtaking year around, ankle deep, fish-bearing, Big Bend creek. Many people just enjoy sitting on our dock and enjoying the abundant wildlife and many love to take advantage of using our kayaks for a paddle onto the beautiful Hood Canal. At low tide our Oysters are exposed and provide a great opportunity to pick a few oysters and try your hand at grilling the perfect oyster. Our Grounds have many locations with fire pits and turnkey BBQ stations. There are lovely trails through our “Swingwood Forest” alongside the stream where guests can gather or retreat to a hammock or swing.
Robin Hood is a Pacific Northwest favorite for "weekend weddings" and family reunions, as well. There is an outdoor chapel setting next to the stream which is created with beautifully finished log benches
