shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
• Spokane is home to Fairchild Air Force Base, which is home to just under 6,000 active duty Air Force, Air National Guard, and military and civilian employees. It was announced recently that expansion at the base over the next year will add roughly 1,000 people, an estimated 400 of which will be active-duty Air Force personnel.
