The Crooked Creek Resort and RV Park is beautifully nestled in a valley of the southern Black Hills, just outside of Hill City, South Dakota. This Heart of the Hills location is minutes away from national monuments, located on the George S. Mickelson Trail, and many museums and shops. it is the perfect place to stay for vacationing families, outdoor enthusiasts, a corporate get away, and history buffs alike. While strolling through the property you will enjoy the rippling creek and sounds of nature in this picturesque mountain meadow setting. Crooked Creek Resort & RV Park is a summer 'home away from home'. Located just 2 miles south of Hill City on Hwy 16/385, the resort has convenient access to all the major attractions in the Southern Hills including Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park. Crooked Creek has a wide variety of lodging with 84 RV sites, 15 cabins, a 14-room motel, shaded ample tent sites along the beautiful Spring Creek that winds through our property, and two tipis for sleeping under the stars. The RV sites and hookups are accommodating up to 50 amps, the 14-room motel overlooks the Spring Creek and the Mickelson Trail. All of the single and double queen rooms have outdoor access, a bathroom with a shower tub, AC, heat, flat screen TV, cable, mini-refrigerator, and a microwave. Other amenities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, outdoor children’s play area, fitness center, a General Store, Breakfast Barn, laundry facility, a wine and microbrew tasting room. Also available is a shelter that is available for large or small groups.
