The owner is a well-respected custom home developer in the Aspen Valley and investor in notable other investments and has not/does not have the time to maximize the potential of Elk Creek.

In addition to the the 78 RV/tent/cabin sites, there is an owner’s residence and two apartments. While the season runs from May 1 to October 31, the residence and apartments may be used year-round. Additionally, the owner has made significant investment to the infrastructure and more details can be provided.

The campground is currently encumbered by a loan, through a local lender, in the approximate amount of $2M, that may be possible to assume. It is also possible that the current lender may be a lending prospect form a new owner.
