If you are looking to take the whole family on a road trip, then let this 36B5 Georgetown 5 Series GT5 class A gas motorhome by Forest River answer your call. This model is one of the most family friendly models on the market with two full bathrooms and sleeping space for eight people. In the bedroom there is a king bed and across the room you can watch a movie or your favorite show on the 32" LED TV. Your kids will enjoy their own space with the bunk beds, each with it's own TV. The front living area is a nice place to plan out your day of fun and adventure. Here you will find a sofa and a DreamDinette which both easily convert into additional sleeping space. Large TV in living room & large outdoor TV as well.
Has a MASSIVE 18cu fridge, we've never been able to fill it, even after costco runs and loading up on groceries! (we eat mostly home cooked), the freezer is especially huge, I think bigger than our home freezer! And the fridge runs on both electric or the built in propane. Has a front pull-down/drop-down bunk above the driver/passenger seats. Nice clothes washer/dryer combo unit in rear bathroom. Couch has flip out leg rests. Comfy seating and mattresses. Dual water heaters! (gas and/or electric) Dual water tanks! I can take lower flow showers and NEVER run out of HOT water! (even in a parking lot). Built in generator can power everything you need. 2 separate air conditioners, 2 separate house furnace heaters (propane or electric), 2 separate black tanks, 2 separate grey tanks = going twice as long before requiring to dump (easily goes 2 weeks for a large family no problem!), having these dual separate systems is RARE!
Lots of room inside with the 3 slide outs and high interior height. VERY comfortable overall, you can be anywhere and feel like your living in luxury. TONS of easy to access large storage. We like to bring our mini espresso machine and blender for some good treats. 5k tow capacity, tows our 7 passenger Buick Envoy flawlessly, lots of power. Many upgrades, such as upgraded led headlights, upgraded rv 6v deep cycle batteries, upgraded king mattress, upgraded couch pull out mattress (it's actually super comfortable!), upgraded shower heads, upgraded whole rv water filter, mini reverse osmosis water filter that makes the purest unlimited water everywhere you go! Everything is in excellent working condition, well maintained, besides little normal wear n tear. This is basically as good as it gets before going up to a diesel pusher, which are easily twice the price for similar layout/features!
MADE BEFORE COVID, The newer models of this Georgetown are nearly identical still, but we noticed worse quality components when we toured one! For example the shower walls were literally just loose hanging a vinyl sheet against the wall! The shower walls for our 2019 on the other hand are hard molded solid, exactly the same as most residential showers! (in fact they probably are actual residential showers).
SPECIAL UPGRADE NOTE: This RV has recently had the full suspension upgrades done by Henderson's Lineup in southern Oregon. This improves the ride, stability, sway, roll, etc by over 70%. Essentially pretty much all gas class A's on the market are well known to have absolutely horrible stock suspensions that can make them difficult to drive safely at high speeds, and without everyone inside getting super car sick. These upgrades make driving the RV from a nightmare to a dream! It couldn't be more 'night and day' difference, absolutely beyond essential in my opinion, and many many other RV owners feel the exact same way. They also slightly improve mileage, allow for higher speeds, significant control around corners, less tire wear, less wear and tear on the rig in general, and obviously significantly reduce chances of getting in an accident. These upgrades cost us just under $10k even with some discounted rates. Those include additions of front sway bar, front radius rods, front SAFE-T-PLUS steering control, upgraded rear sway bar, additional rear aux sway bar, rear trac bar, upgraded front and rear shocks to the new Kona EVO's, the best RV shocks available.
PRICE IS FIRM, We love this rv and are reluctant to sell it, and may end up not selling it. We are only selling it because our children are older, our oldest is 19, and it's not really her thing going on rv trips in general, so we're not going to be using it much and figure we'll see what happens. However if you're super interested but cannot do the price listed, let me know and I'll create a 'back up list' of potential buyers, however the RV may go super quick because it is an extremely rare model/unit. Originally we only saw a few other rv's like this on the entire west coast (that were pre owned).
