Description

-Clean title in hand and everything works as it should

1997 Fleetwood Southwind 35W with Hydraulic Leveling, 46000 miles, and 425 hours on the Onan 5000 generator. Rig has been stored in covered storage most of its life and is currently stored in Chapel Hill. Two roof a/c’s, two propane furnaces, nice roof with no leaks ever, kitchen with oven/stove/microwave, bathroom with toilet, shower, vanity sink, large master bedroom, front couch pulls out into a second bed and kitchen table transforms into a third bed, part hardwood/part carpet, water heater, onboard water storage with black and gray tanks, outside faucet at dump access and plenty of storage. I just took it for its yearly inspection, did yearly service on the rig and generator. Feel free to bring your mechanic with you to look it over.

-Hydraulic leveling….This leveling system is two-fold, it levels you with the big hydraulic rams that come down and the rams take the bounce from the shocks/suspension out while camping to give you a less shaky feeling when walking through the rv.

No air brakes so standard Class C license is all thats needed.

This F53 chassis also runs the 16 inch commercial truck tires so tires can be found readily at any tire shop and cost much less than the tractor trailer tires found on some.

Work Completed recently ….

-Awning fabric and spring roller replaced a few years ago

-Oil/Filter and air filter for rig, and oil/filter/fuel filter and air filter for generator have been changed yearly as rig never made it over 2000 in any season.

-Toilet, stair motor, and rv water pump replaced in 2020/2021

-40,000---radiator/belts/radiator fan/cooling flush/tune up with plugs/wires, Front end alignment at FleetPride, rear differential cover leak fixed, and gear oil changed, Transmission fluid and filter change, Installed wheel pressure/temp monitors, Front wheel bearings repacked and wheel seals replaced
42000—rear stabilizers replaced, exhaust repair and driveshaft work
43000—spare tire replaced
46000—Rear brakes/complete done by Triangle Truck….two rear calipers/two rear brake rotors, wheel seals, pad set

-What may need addressing for some….tires are probably reaching the five-six year in service range and house batteries are probably about the same in age. Batteries test good but age-wise they are getting up there.

If you have made it this far and have additional questions, feel free to email me (probably quickest/easiest way) or text/call prior to 8p nightly.
