Description

Huge value—the solar package and upgrades easily exceed $60,000. The electrical system (>$12,000 upgrade!) is very similar to that seen on Keep Your Daydream/All about RVs.

  • 300 amp hours of Battleborn lithium batteries
  • Magnum Energy Inverter powers both legs
  • 400W roof-mounted solar
  • 40 Amp charge controller
  • EasyStart on A/C
  • Victron Bluetooth Shunt monitoring usage
  • Hard-wired SurgeGuard active EMS protects from any electrical hookup problems.
We could boondock for ~4 days/3 nights without running a generator, and a smaller generator is all that is needed to top up the batteries. The system could easily be expanded by tripling the number of solar panels to allow for longer dry camping.

Additional upgrades are premium memory foam queen bed in the master and standard memory foam on 3 beds in the bunkhouse. The bunkhouse sofa has been replaced with a bed. Shower head upgraded to Oxygenics. Listing includes 14k Equalizer hitch with Rock Tamer mud flaps (~$1,000 in total). Accessories include Anderson leveling blocks, sewer hoses, electrical adapters, yellow "lego" blocks, and rug as pictured.

The “standard” features are really premium. If you’re shopping for a 312, you already know this is king of the travel trailers. Plenty of fresh and holding tanks, a MaxAir fan, All-seasons winter package, pre-plumbed for washer, tons of storage, huge refrigerator, automatic stabilizers, control everything from bluetooth, etc. Features are the same as on the current new model with MSRP over $80,000. Get a nearly new unit with incredible upgrades for far less than that.

We full-timed in this unit for 4 months. Because it was our primary residence, it received excellent maintenance (e.g., bi-weekly roof checks). We had one warranty repair (a bent spindle) which is why there are 2 Goodyear tires (~60% tread) and 2 Carlisle tires (>90% tread; Goodyears were not available due to supply chain). Axle was replaced and we've had no problems in the ~2,000 miles since. We loved this unit, but our family plans have changed. Happy to answer questions/send photos if it'd be helpful.
