Description

We absolutely love this coach, but as time passes by we seem to need less and less space, so it is time to downsize. When we made this purchase at the end of 2019 we figured it might be the last RV that we ever owned, so we upgraded everything. The front and rear sway bars as well as the steering stabilizer were replaced with Roadmaster heavy duty suspension components. I saved one of the old sway bars for comparison, but they are almost twice as thick. This made a huge difference in the handling. It came with the BigFoot leveling system, so we added SnapPads to all four legs. We also replaced the stock shocks with Koni's all the way around. The Leprechaun came with air bags (air ride suspension), but we had to make an upgrade here as well. From the factory it had schrader valves on both sides of the coach near the rear axle, and you had to connect a bike bump to add or remove air. We installed a "Air Lift" onboard air compressor system with remote to allow us to change the air pressure in the air ride suspension while driving down the road (photo included). A great safety upgrade was the Truck Systems Technology (TST) TPMS. We have all six tires monitored with alarm thresholds set for both low and high pressure. All TPMS batteries have been replaced. Since this RV did not come with a spare tire mount, we added the Roadmaster spare tire mount in the listing photos. This allows you to tilt the wheel down to ground level for easy removal and replacement. The handle is extendable to provide additional leverage. The spare is a full size spare of the same make and size as the factory tires and wheels. Lastly, we replaced the stock lead acid batteries with two 100AH BattleBorn LiPO batteries. This has made a massive difference in how long we can run everything without needing shore power or the generator. Best of all they still have about eight years left on their ten year warranty. Speaking of warranty, we purchased a seven year premium, bumper to bumper warranty in 2019, which still has four years left. While it does not cover wear and tear items, the list of covered items is extensive. There is also two years remaining on the Duratain upholstery, undercoating, and awning treatments that we purchased from the dealer, which we can provide additional information on prior to purchase. Lastly we have performed the following services in October: engine oil and filter change, engine air filter, new windshield wipers, and generator oil replaced.
