Rin Tin Tin is a 2019 Roadtrek Simplicity SRT, gas powered 3.6L V6 and equipped with a 3" lift as well as Goodrich's premium KO2 Off-Road tires. He is also pretty self-sufficient with 300w of solar panels and plenty of battery capacity to keep the adventure going (425 amp hours).

Rin Tin Tin's rear cabin is packed with amenities including a queen size bed that converts into a couch with the press of a button, a large Norcold fridge with freezer, propane stove top, sink, dining table, TV, DVD and of course, the bathroom. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, and sink. The shower hose has been modified to stretch outside the van for outdoor showers or rinsing of gear, shoes and more. With 35 gallons of fresh water in the holding tank and the city water hookup you can rest assured water is not likely to be an issue. Rin Tin Tin has two holding tanks, one for black water and one for grey water. The grey water tank holds 23 gallons and the black tank holds 9.5.

Getting out and enjoying the open road, the majestic sites, connecting with nature, and exploring new lands is at the heart of Overlanding, but sometimes we need to stay connected. That's why Rin Tin Tin is also equipped with both a cellular signal booster as well as a WiFi booster. Rest assured if there is even a scent of a signal Rin Tin Tin will find it.
