- 2021 Gulfstream BT Cruiser 5230 24ft, 19,000 miles. One owner. Still under warranty. MSRP $147,283.00. The new 7.3 Ford Gas V-8 with 430 hp and 475 ft. lbs torque. Same drivetrain as in gas Class A's. Gulfstream doesn't call the BT Cruiser "The Sports Car of Motorhomes" for nothing. Gets 12.3 mpg at 70 mph and 9.2 at 85 mph. We usually drive it at 80-85. Drives well at 85mph. We ordered everything single option and upgrade we could get except jacks. Specified all of the options oversize A/C unit, cold-weather package, Mor-Rhyde suspension, enhanced sound insulation package, all stainless steel kitchen appliances, Corian counter tops with undermount sink w/flush covers, high-recovery hot water tank, heated tanks, restaurant quality gas range/oven, Amish solid-wood maple cabinetry throughout the coach, full-body paint ($15,000 option) just to name a few. We specified dual jacknife sofas which can be unbolted in 10 minutes and switched out for convertible sofa, Murphy bed or trifold sofa depending on your preference. We sleep 6 and has seatbelts for 8. This is our 3rd BT Cruiser 5230 we've owned in the last 4 years. We've put 80,000 miles on our 5230's. We like this floorplan because it is so usable and practical. Wife drives it as a 3rd vehicle since it is 4 ft longer than her Suburban and takes it out with our 4 kids on field trips and shopping.
