Description

Excellent condition collectors item Revcon wide body, 340 Series, Queen Island Special Edition. Revcons are front wheel drive like GMC motorhomes, and coach is aluminum frame with aluminum interior and exterior skins, like Airstreams. Previous owner was an Air Force aircraft mechanic. Between 1998 and 2016, he invested $28,000 in rebuiling the drive train and other chassis elements (torque converter, transfer case, Ujoints, ball joints, Dana differential, brakes, brake lines, radiator, cooling fans, bell cranks, shock absorbers, and other items too numerous to mention) . All of this work was performed in the last 34,000 miles, much of it preventative, not to fix things that had broken. Only 3740 miles added since 2016 when I bought it. Used locally as recently as last summer. Selling because family has outgrown RV travel. Stored in heated building since I purchased, previously in covered shed. Floor is carpet front and rear with oak flooring in entry and kitchen area. All dashboard instruments and tank gauges functional. 6-way power seats for driver and passenger. Original side chairs and U-Line icemaker, included in sale, have been replaced with reclining Toyota van seats, but you can also have originals which are in excellent condition. Separate front and rear propane furnaces . Deeper kitchen sinks than earlier models. Water filter for sinks and shower. Wood slat blinds all around. Exterior window awnings. Exterior "docking lights" curbside and street side. Roof mounted remote spotlight. Blue Ox towing bar. 16" aluminum wheels. New tires in 2017. Overhead teak cabinets, teak used throughout for cabinetry. Newer microwave/convection oven. Newer ceiling AC units as well as dashboard AC from engine. Professionally maintained Onan generator with 832 hrs. Corian countertops. Leveling jacks. Bathroom fan. Light in stall shower. TV over dash 2017.

Needs: Current refrigerator is non-working and needs to be replaced. Passenger side motorized rear view mirror needs repair, angles downward only, moves slightly. Reading light bulbs over front seats out and hard to find. Heater strip in front air conditioner doesn't function but I have new AC unit in box.

Coach comes with pages of repair records and owners manuals for the chassis work and appliances.
This is a very comfortable ride, easy and fun to drive and maneuver. Many Revcons are still on the road, and there is an active online forum via policeinterceptor.com.
