Description

  • I'll start with some pricing thoughts, you would need to decide for yourself, but here is why I think my coach is a good deal. The average blue book retail is $104,750 to $86,950, so I'm 16K below average retail. Say you owned the coach for three years, average depreciation is 3% annually, taking the value to average retail of $95,600 and low retail at $79,350 (roughly). You
still have the ability to make a few improvements and sell for more than you bought it for (which wouldn't happen with a new coach for sure) or keep as is and get 85-90% of your capital back. Our payment is about $600 per month, and we budget about $2-3000 in annual maintenance costs (because things break in a moving house).
  • What has been replaced or improved in our ownership. New Girard Series 2 tankless hot water system, new 40" Roku TV, new bathroom/kitchen fixtures, new butcher block stove cover, new transfer switch, re-upholstered the two front captain seats and the love seat, new fresh water pump, new motorized sun/night blinds in the front window, new step motor, new slide solenoid, LED bunk lighting, new fan clutch and thermostats for engine cooling and other general required TLC (motor and generator oil changes, tire rotations/repacking, flushes, etc).
  • This 2011 Berkshire 390BH runs the 360HP diesel through a 6.7 Cummins turbo diesel engine (watch out for less expensive 340HP models). She climbed all the big peaks in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and California. Plenty of power to climb the highest hills in the passing lane.
  • Four slides give you plenty of space when opened up. Parents have their own bedroom, with a closing and locking door with plenty of closet space. Put a kid in each bunk, and a couple more on the fold down dinette and the fold out sleeper sofa -- sleeps 8.
  • Kitchen space is great with a three burner cook top, a microwave/convection oven combo, a four door full size Dometic freezer fridge combo, and plenty of pantry and sink space.
  • Plenty of storage space both above and in the basement. Ninety gallons of fresh water storage and a 8,000 watt Onan generator leaves you well equipped for a few nights off the grid.
  • All the hoses for fresh water (heated), black tank flush (non-heated), and sewer connections are included.
  • There are cracks in the bathroom tile that are minor, but could be replaced. The cabinets look good, but you could give them a once over with Miniwax Early American. The fog lamp lense is broken.
