This Prevost was commissioned in 1989 by the man who marketed the card game UNO. Hence the exterior paint colors. I purchased this Prevost from the Estate of the man who was his right-hand man who received it in his estate. I had never owned a Prevost prior and thought it would be similar to standard motor homes I had owned. This is a complex machine that is awesome to drive and a beauty to camp in. My challenge is that I don't have the time to maintain it. I purchased it and drove it to our campsite in Brandon MS. I had a local guy who is familiar with Prevost do some work on replacing valves that work the airbag system. I have taken it on a local drive once and other than that it has remained at our campsite.These are the negatives I know about it. The last time I started it I had to jump it off. It needs 4 new batteries for the engine. The hot water heater is not working and is possibly the element. The airbag leveling needs some work. I am told it is possible stuck valves on the air suspension. The front drivers a/c does not work.The engine runs good. The transmission shifts great. The generator starts easy and works great. The plumbing is all good. The interior is pretty much as it was when new. There has been little updating. The interior is lots of wood and mirrors. No tears in seats, couches or booth seats. The flooring is part nice tile and part carpet. The carpet is not in good shape. All the glass is great. It has the 3 central air and heat systems which work great. Exterior is beautiful with basement doors working perfect. It has an awning that I have never retracted. The tires should be replaced before long. No dents or scrapes. We have used it for a weekend getaway and it is very nice for that. Since I don't feel comfortable taking it on trips I am going to sell it and step back to the simple motorhome. I can work on them. If you are looking for a beautiful Le Mirage XL 40', this is a great one. It needs TLC and the issues I previously mentioned.
