2022 GD 3100RD On August 17, 2021, I bought a brand new 2022 grand design 3100RD at Campers Inn in Madison Alabama. Pulled it home to Loretto, Tn. parked in the driveway, and left it for the night. The next day Aug 18 a friend came over and was going to help me park it beside the garage. As I was backing it up he said wait there’s a tree limb sticking out there that may hit it a little. So we stopped I went and got a ladder climbed up the ladder about 12 feet to cut the limbs tied the top of the ladder off and when I cut the limbs off, they swung around and knocked me off the ladder. I fell 12 feet on my back-breaking two ribs and fractured several vertebrae‘s. I was taken by ambulance to a hospital and was in hospitals and rehabs for 64 days, and a couple more months of outpatient rehab. I’m a 74-year-old widower and had planned to RV full time, but I'm not sure that will ever be possible now if so it’ll be maybe years down the road. I think I will take a loss and sell it. It has never been used or even pulled out of the yard since the purchase date, the only thing done to it here was complete winterization. I am asking $53000 OBO for the RV. Which includes a transferable maintenance agreement good for 5 years (from the purchase date). I will probably sell the equalizer hitch and many RV accessories to the buyer also if he is interested separately. I had bought many of the accessories with a previous smaller RV, some of that has never been used either.
