Description

SOLD!
Thank you RV Trader for a great experience!

Used but not abused! Acquired in 2019, we put 6,000+ miles on it, half of them in 2021. Downsized from 2600 SF sticks-&-bricks to 300SF and were able to load everything we needed in it, including my complete set of carpenter tools in the basement. We lived very comfortably in it full-time July - October. Towed RAM 1500 pickup from Washington State to Texas with absolutely no problems. Equipped w/BrakeMaster towing brake system, and an engine compression brake. Added new back-up camera and tire monitoring system. Friends of ours owned the unit. In 2016 they had extensive work done, mostly at the Newmar factory, including a totally new roof and 2 new rooftop heat pumps. New Michelin tires were added all around. In our downsizing we misplaced earlier records but have the maintenance records since 2019. We replaced major parts in the steering and airbrake systems and installed a new engine coolant reservoir. Oil, lubrication, and filter changes are current, and everything is running smoothly. The entire electrical system was gone through, and all devices are working (power window, power seats, radio, lights, horns, etc.). Mechanically, I have no worries with it. Replaced flooring in the main cabin and bath with waterproof vinyl laminate (left just a little of the carpet toward the front to soften it a bit). The bedroom is still carpeted. Driver’s and passenger’s chairs are VERY comfortable. All the upholstery is in very good shape. The cabinetry has been refinished throughout. King bed is comfortable. Sleeper sofa is okay. Dometic refrigerator/freezer works flawlessly on electric or propane. Washer/dryer combo work fine - just slow. All awnings in good shape! Has a 50 Amp electrical service cord with adapters down to 30 amp and on down to 20 amp (not ideal but you can limp by on it – we’ve done so more than once). Full storage cover is included. Black floor mat under the easy chair recliner/rocker was for rolling chair at the desk; moved chair and mat to my office. Will leave the electric oil-filled heater. Heat pumps and propane furnace work great, but this heater is nice to just keep off the chill, or to keep the inside of the coach from freezing while in storage during the winter. We upgraded to a 2017 Dutch Star 4369. Otherwise, we would still be living happily ever after in this 1998. Many more photos available on request.
