Description

Familiar with larger names like Leisure Travel Vans? Don’t overlook this small Florida luxury brand. If you are looking for a well-appointed, sleek unit with rear twin beds, dry mid-bath, and top-notch capability for a class C motorhome, read on!
Coach House specializes in using a 1-piece coach body with many marine-industry components. This includes the water heater which is warmed by the engine or electric elements. Tanks are heated and plumbing is run inside the coach to permit year-round usage. This motorhome is on a Ford E-450 chassis which gives it a huge weight capacity (OCCC) of over 1500 lbs. Up front are twin captain’s chairs, Garmin navigation system with backup camera, a power folding sofa on the driver’s side slideout, twin tables, and a large TV. The galley has a solid surface counter, 3 burner stove, combination convection-microwave oven, 6 cubic foot 3-way fridge / freezer, and a very functional pantry pull-out. Awning on the passenger side is electric with a wind sensor for automatic retraction. Bath has a separate shower for easy use. Rear twin bunks have memory foam mattresses, wardrobe cabinets over the feet, and a small TV. Both TV’s have their own DVD players and DISH satellite receivers which can be subscribed to month by month. Both the slideout and automatic leveling system are heavy-duty hydraulic systems. The Firefly multiplexing system puts the controls for lighting, HVAC, generator, and water pump all in one place. It also enables dimming of the overhead and accent lighting, and provides complete control from a smartphone via Bluetooth before you even get out of bed!
A full list of options is in the pictures. Owner upgrades include front windshield shades and a Viper security system. This unit has very good tank capacities for being away from hookups. The gasoline-powered generator runs off the 55 gallon main tank. When generators and shore power are not an option (some national park settings), owner upgrades to the power system to extend its capability include 510 amp-hours of Lithium batteries, a 3000 watt inverter powering the entire electrical panel, and computerized monitoring. Inverter controls include limiting the shore power draw and boosting from the batteries. Interior storage is very extensive for the unit size while exterior storage is more modest.
This unit was purchased for a 5-week bucket list trip to the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone this past summer. Owners moving to a smaller unit for shorter East Coast trips.
