Description

The aim for this build was to take a 148" wheelbase non-extended high roof AWD Transit and convert it into a very agile camper van. Maximizing space was paramount to allow the end user ample space to transport whatever gear the season calls for. This is excellent van for someone looking to have a very stealthy adventure machine for 2-10 day jaunts around the country. Though you could live in it full time, that was not the main focus, instead built around someone who wants to maximize fun while traveling, minimize time spent packing/repacking & has an easy platform to clean up when done. The bed is removable and raiseable (though it'd really be more of a single sleeper if you did this). This was to accommodate a dirt bike in the van if you decide to do so. The stud system is very robust, and was designed around the user adding more L track to fasten more gear to the walls (hooks, strap tie down points etc). Van comes with a transferable warranty (3 yr/36,000 mi basic, 5 yr/60,000 mi powertrain) Title in hand. Ready to go. EDIT/UPDATE: Not designed around a 3rd seat. I've had many asking this question. Though I'm sure anchors could be fab'd up, it'd really ruin the functionality of the van as your entire kitchen space (standing room to cook) would now be taken by the seat. As a result, I would not purchase if this is what you are aiming to do.
