Description

2016 Forest River 312BHX Bunkhouse Fifth Wheel Trailer Trailer is in perfect condition. We have access to a lake house and can't use this enough to keep it. Because we are getting out of the travel trailer scene it will come with most of what you need to go camping right away. We looked at trailers that were a little longer and had more slide-outs but with all of those cutouts I wasn't confident things would stay tight over time if you move it often. We opted for this trailer which has two slide-outs and has thicker walls and more insulation. It paid off because everything is still tight and works well. Features: Outdoor kitchen with sink, 4 bunks in rear, queen in front. Couch has inflatable mattress. Table folds down to bed as well. TV with DVD and integrated sound system and outdoor speakers. Indoor water panel. Pre-ship upgrades were slide toppers and an additional AC unit in the front for the master. Upgrades I've done(pictures): 1. Stabilizers. You tighten these down after landing and it greatly cuts down on the sway from people moving in the trailer. Really useful at night when someone at the front or back moving around doesn't affect the other end. 2. Mor-Ryde hitch. Reduces jerking motion when traveling. 3. Accumulator and pump isolation. When running on stored water the pump would run anytime someone opened a valve. Now the pump runs for longer but much less often, usually not at all at night when the bathroom is used. The pump is also on isolator pads so it is much quieter when it does run. 4. Macerator pump. We were able to use the bathroom in the trailer when we traveled and could clean out by running a hose inside. 5. 2" Receiver. We had a bike rack on the back many of the trips. I have the original bumper if you want to put that back on. Issues: I hit a branch on a trip up north and busted a piece of plastic on the forward AC. Nothing structural. I put some awning repair tape on and it's been fine since. I also poked a small hole in the nose. Bent ladder. See pictures. Included: Clam screen shelter, 50AMP cable, extension and adapters for 120v and 30A. Macerator system. Propane outdoor grill with direct hookup to trailer propane. RV mat. Trailer was not used very often and was covered and powered at all times when not on a campsite. New battery just installed. Let me know if you have any questions.
