Description

The Taxa Cricket is an unique lightweight but extremely durable camping trailer, rugged enough and designed for off-road camping, but can also be hooked up to amenities at a developed campground. The designer gained manufacturing experience while working for NASA on the habitation module, which is where astronauts eat, sleep, etc when in space, and it shows in the design of this camping trailer. Designer called it as "not a house on wheels but a portable adventure living space". Weighing just under 1500 lbs (unloaded), this camper can be pulled by many smaller vehicles, I pull it with my Subaru Outback. And it's attention to details makes it so much easier to live out of the camper. The camper includes:
folded-aluminum shell
Pop-up that provides up to 6'4" head space inside
15" tires with low mileage
airplane style and sized side entry door, and back hatch that can be raised for total back access,
solar connection and solar panels,
two just replaced sealed batteries,
interior and exterior led lights,
cushioned sleeping area for 2 adults with extensive storage underneath,
one overhead berth where a younger child can sleep (up to 130lb) or provides overhead storage,
inside sink with counter top,
15 gallon fresh water tank, hot water heater, outside hand-held shower hookup,
portable toilet,
Multi-position table,
many, many options for hanging items both in interior and exterior (such as if want to hook up awning to camper and tree)
ample storage, kitchen cabinets,
roof rack for bikes or lightweight toys,
sway bar,
Specifications: 15' length, 6'7" in width, 2" hitch connection

A handful of my photos are from dealership where I first picked up camper, but I am not a dealer. Most were taken 10/29/21. I'm not using the camper trailer since moving to New Mexico, so time to sell. Besides replacing the batteries, I had Complete RV Care/Santa Fe, clean and install new grease seals for the wheel bearings, check the water system to ensure all was operational before winterizing the camper, and inspect the brakes, so camper is ready to go.
