Description

This unit is a hybrid camper. It has two large doors that fold down into two queen size beds that that are covered with canvas with large screens. Heated mattresses and fans included for each bed. This gives an outside camping experience and increases space without increasing size and weight. The couch and dinette area are part of a slide out that expands the interior while configuring into additional sleeping space easily accommodating a family of 4 adults and two children. Solid oak cabinetry throughout with lots of storage space (in and out) and electrical outlets. Light weight, easy to handle (under 4,000 lbs. when loaded). Solid roof, awning, great body, inspected , over 3,000 miles of camping in last 4 years.
This unit has all of the original features and they have all worked well for me. These include: 1. large Dometic refrigerator with freezer, 12 Volt and LP gas 2. three burner stove with burner cover, hood and oven 3. double sink with cover, tall faucet 4. .9 cu ft microwave 5. roof top air conditioner, thermostat controlled, multiple vents throughout 6. suburban LP furnace, multiple vents throughout, thermostat controlled 7. Grey water and black water holding tanks (24 gal ?) 8. LP hot water tank (6 gal) 9. Fresh Water Tank (12 gal ?) 10. Shurflo Potable Water Pump 11. Outside grill (detached) 12. CD Stereo Radio System built in speakers 13. Power Converter 14. Roof antenna and cable hook up 15. fan powered vents for main living area and bathroom 16. 4 new tires 17. Smoke free.
Now let me discuss the negative. This camper has had water damage unknown to me when purchased. Rain had seeped through one large bed door and as a result the door was delaminated along the hinge joint, hidden by a hinge cover. Water also had sat on a large oak counter in front of the bed causing some surface delamination though no damage to its structure. Also there are two faint stains on the linoleum floor whose cause I assume was also water related. One of these has a notable soft spot in a small area near one of the beds. I have replaced the 2 bed doors with new ones from Forest River ($2,000) along with new seals. Unfortunately I failed to close one door tightly while traveling in a rain storm and have noticed a small section of the wall near the bed to be soft where water seeped in while driving. These issues can be fixed and have not prevented us from enjoying the camper.
