We bought the motorhome in 2016 and have loved the quality of Bigfoot. We made some changes to make it fit our needs. This included:
Removed the dinette and living area chairs
Replaced living room valances and accordion shades with curtains
Replaced flooring-Replaced kitchen faucet, shower head-Replaced hand flush toilet with Dometic foot flush
Replaced accordion style shower door with expandable rod & curtain
Added peel and stick backsplash in kitchen
Painted some of the fabric trim and light fixtures
Furnished with non-permanent Ikea loveseat (will stay w/ motorhome)
Added smart TV on articulating mount across from sofa side
Added flatscreen mounted TV in bedroom
Maintenance Items of Note:
Tires replaced 9/18
Front Brakes 7/20
Oil changed every 3-5k miles
General Motorhome Features:
~48k miles on odometer
Cold weather package - Fibercore wall system with insulated tubular aluminum framing
Oversized garage contains adjustable shelving, tie down hooks, air compressor, hanging hooks and can comfortably store multiple bikes upright without removing tires
Roof access ladder
Rhino liner roof
Hot water heater, holding tanks and dump valves are enclosed, insulated and heated by the motor while driving
Thermal dual pane windows
Temperature controlled exhaust fans
Gas furnace AND strip heat via ducted roof system
Roof AC as well as chassis AC both blow cold
Microwave and gas ovens
Full bath with tub, shower and outside shower - 6'9.5" height in shower with skylight.
Rear air bag suspension controlled from cab
Rear steel roller system to prevent damage when bottoming out when crossing uneven road transitions
Power steps with swing out hand rail system
Real oak cabinets
Large heated remote controlled mirrors
Issues:
Generator won’t start (probably needs carb rebuild)
Rear auxiliary heater blower motor going bad (propane furnace and rooftop AC unit heat strip still work fine)
Awning sticks out a bit on the ends, but still locks in place safely. Eyelet for crank broke off but new one epoxied on
Seals between many of the dual pane windows are snaking/creeping (just aesthetic. We have been in single digit temps and no condensation)
Propane tank weathering/rust, but has no issues
Inaccurate tank level monitor readings
Entry Door sticks and doesn't open/shut smoothly as it should
Cracking in interior skylight pane (outside pane is fine and skylight does NOT leak)
