The Excel model TW runs like a top, has plenty of power, and engine and transimission are smooth as silk. It get's 15 mpg on flat roads which can drop to 11 mpg crossing the continental divide (of course). It's not a higher mpg model like a diesel but it also cost tens of thousands less. Everything works! Tires were new when we bought it and have only about 3500 miles on them; a new serpentine belt was also installed with the complete tuneup at that time. There are three new Interstate batteries, two for the backup utility supply and one in the engine compartment, new bluetooth radio (for your cell phone), new tailpipe after the muffler, new HVAC blower motor, new windshield (thanks to a flying pebble off the road).
