Description

New tires. New slide topper. House-grade ducted air-conditioner. We recently replaced the two house batteries as well as the engine battery. The Dodge Workhorse chassis (gas engine) received a new fuel pump, and the engine runs great. Air-conditioning system is in an under compartment in the back that works great. There are two exhaust fans, one in the kitchen/living area and one in the bathroom. The kitchen has a glass-front refrigerator, a microwave, and a propane stove and oven. The dinette and sofa are on the slide-out, and both make into beds. Lots of storage for hanging clothes in the hallway. Bath with shower, grey water tank, and a flushing toilet into a black water tank. The bedroom has a walk-around queen bed (the window valences could use recovering). Heat is by electric and propane. The water heater is propane (including a full on-board tank of propane). All plumbing and electrical systems have been verified as working by a reputable RV sales and repair shop. We bought this RV to serve as a comfortable base while we worked in a city far from our house, and it served us excellently! We have been so secure and safe in this RV, it’s like a trusted friend. We’re finally ready to sell this version of home, however, because we want to downsize and travel…further afield than would be practical considering the gas mileage of an RV of this type. The first owner of five years was a race-car driver, who wanted a place for his family to be comfortable at race tracks. The rig was high-dollar when he bought it! The RV has never had smokers in it.The roof has lots of space for solar panels, including possibly a connection into the rig (via an early-style panel that was damaged when we bought it). Points of interest: water did enter via two places on the roof, though both have been addressed. There is NO MILDEW (my husband is very sensitive to this type of thing). A big reason for the lack of real damage is the way Winnebagos are built. Side beams are aluminum, insulation is Styrofoam, and wood is minimized to veneer. The bathroom skylight has been replaced, and the wall covering has been changed. A place where a limb scraped the fiberglass roof has been repaired. Also, there is no smell of mildew from that incident.
