Description

It is with a heavy heart that I list my beloved camper for sale. I’m moving away and don’t have time to fix it. >custom, hand-made build, so it’s not a standard teardrop from an RV store (not teardrops brand) >it’s lightweight (400 lbs)> you can haul with a regular car; I hauled it with my jeep commander and the previous owner hauled it with a Mini Cooper>the inside fits a queen mattress> there is a window unit AC on the inside and also a vent fan on the roof; on days that weren’t significantly hot I never even needed to turn the AC on as the vent on the roof did just fine> there is a car battery installed underneath the back hatch that powers up everything; you simply plug it in to a power source and under the back hatch you have a mini coffee maker and an outlet to plug in whatever; this also runs the a/c>There is no sink, like some teardrops have; this one is designed to set up an external camping sink but you have a power source to plug in a griddle or whatever else>multi-color LED lights run the perimeter of the camper w/ a remote control> there are bolts and tent pegs to set up a tarp awning and create somewhat of a porch over the door> there is a storage container mounted to the front as well as some tubes where you can store your tent pegs, etc>the camper is purple with green squid tentacle designs on it, and there is a sticker on the back that is a manatee looking thru a portholeNow for the bad news (and why this is listed as a fixer upper). Sadly, I had moved to a new location that did not have a garage and the camper was sitting in my yard in between camps. This allowed rain and moisture to seep inside the camper without me realizing it. (after some examination I think the water was able to get in by seeping between the vent perhaps). When I went to go on a camping trip I was met with moisture on the inside that had created mold on the mattress, so I had to throw that out. The moisture dilapidated the wood attached to the hatch, so the hatch itself needs some repairs, and the whole camper needs a good cleaning. I’m also not certain about the electrical. The battery died and so I’m not certain if the moisture impacted that or not. This camper will require some handyman work to whip it into shape again, but structurally it’s in pretty good shape. I also have a folder of some paperwork that the original owner gave me when I bought it with documents about the different places he ordered the parts to make it.
