Beautiful 2006 Airstream Safari in need of partial restoration. The front bedroom area had a recent discovered leak which I believe the source has been identified and corrected. I tore out the laminate flooring from the front bedroom all the way to the kitchen area. One slight soft spot was discovered at the foot of the bed at the edge of the aluminum side measuring about 1’X 6”. I bought the Airstream in March 2017 out of Albuquerque NM , while stationed at El Paso, TX. I lived in it for several years however the last year the Airstream has remained in storage. I’m downsizing my life as the kids are almost out of the house now. The longest trip taken was from El Paso to Panama City, but other trips relatively small in comparison. 28OCT2019: Rear Floor replaced and other small repairs to include pressure test. All done by Airstream.
24JAN2021: Water Heater, running lights, front window leak repaired by Airstream dealership.
29OCT2021: Bearings packed
12NOV2021: Batteries replaced (2) There are two dents on the roof as shown in the pictures, one on the front right, and the other on the rear right if you are oriented looking from rear to front. I truly have no idea how they got there. There is also a small indentation on the on the lower left skirt. The windows do not leak, however a seal replacement will be likely in the future. The left front rock guard (plastic) does have a small crack in it. The water/sewer indicator readings are not accurate. Sounds like I’m not trying to sell my Airstream right? While the Airstream is not in perfect condition, everything else is good to go………….everything. I believe the video and pictures speak volumes to the positive attributes. Just wanted to be upfront as I realize if the interest is there, you may be travelling to see it. I can send a video on request, I simply did not figure out how to upload it here.
