Description

This beautiful GD bunkhouse camper is well-designed, and was built pre-pandemic when attention to detail was still a priority; we hate to let it go but need to downsize. The high ceilings and house-quality materials make this feel like a high-end home, and with the new models being both longer and costing almost 2x as much, this 285BHTS will fit better into more camping spaces, and your budget! The private bedroom forward has a like-new upgraded queen mattress on the walk around bed, and there is storage under and over the bed, closets on each side, plus a lighted wardrobe with drawers. At the opposite end of the camper are 2 double-sized bunk beds with another wardrobe and drawers. The U-shaped dinette folds down into a bed and the leather love seat also easily converts. In the bathroom there’s a shower with glass doors and skylight, a large medicine cabinet over the sink, and storage above the porcelain toilet. The main living space and kitchen have cupboards with attractive glass fronts, and the 40” Roku TV with DVD/CD player hangs on an articulating mount above 6 spacious drawers. Combined with storage under the dinette, under and above the stove, and all around the kitchen, you will have plenty of room for food and fun.A 3-burner stove with glass cover, oven, convection microwave, and double sink with home-quality faucet/sprayer makes cooking a breeze. The counters are high quality, not cheap paperboard, and an extension that folds up means there is lots of room for making meals. The 18 cubic foot refrigerator and freezer in the slide-out with the dinette can be easily accessed even with the slide in when traveling.2 AC units ducted thru the ceiling and a heater ducted thru the insulated floor will keep you cool in the summer and warm in winter, and on those in-between days the roof vents in the kitchen, bathroom, and over the rear bunks plus the many windows mean you can enjoy the birds singing from the comfort of your traveling house!Outside you’ll find the new power awning and an outdoor kitchen with a 2-burner stove and small fridge, plus plenty more storage in the rear garage and forward pass-thru. The electric tongue jack and leveling jacks make it easy to set up, and the lighting over the door, under the awning, and under the stairs mean you can make camp even in the dark. 2 batteries for off-grid power and new tires in 2020 with less than 300 miles on them, this camper is ready to go!
