Description

Purchased in July, 2020 and mostly converted professionally by Custom Coach Creations (CCC) of DeLand, FL.The van itself is a 2020 Dodge Ram ProMaster 2,500 with 159" WB and the high roof. It has a 3.6L V6 with 280 hp, 6 speed automatic transmission, front wheel drive, GVW of 8,900 #, HD suspension, cruise control, AC and cloth seats. It drives like a van and the total length is 19'8", so it fits in most parking spaces and RV sites and on a lot of roads the bigger rigs cannot.CCC made all the shell penetrations including the t-vented windows for the slider and rear doors. Also, 11,000 BTU Coleman AC on roof with heat strips and Maxx Air power roof vent over bed.CCC did all the electrical including two 250 amp LITHIUM batteries, 3,000 watt PURE SINE inverter, automatic switching system to shore power, second alternator, 30 amp shore power connection and cord, six 110 volt outlets, four 3" LED dimable lights, cable TV connection on exterior and two amplifiers for TVs and WeBoost Cell Booster System.CCC insulated the shell, installed plywood and vinyl coverings for the ceiling, walls and floor, a 54" by 71" platform bed with a 4" foam mattress. The "garage" space below the bed has a lot of storage space.CCC also installed 48" custom kitchen cabinet with 48" by 20" countertop, undermount stainless steel sink, faucet, on-demand water pump, two 2 1/2 gallon portable water tanks and a 2 1/2 gallon portable gray water tank. Also a floor to ceiling appliance cabinet that houses a large 4 1/2CF refrigerator/freezer and a 1,000 watt air frier/microwave. Carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher were also included. The Owner then had added a XM Radio (by Cruisin Concepts), then added a 24" Insignia Fire Smart TV, additional floor to ceiling cabinets on either side of the appliance cabinet, plus wall cabinets above the foot end of the bed and the sink. Also added was a swivel under the passenger seat, a "Lugaloo" portable toilet and curtains for all back windows and the sleeping area and sun shades for the cockpit windows. We did have one problem. Apparently the mechanic CCC hired to install the second alternator did not properly torque the crank case pulley bolts and we had to replace the engine at 9,600 miles. CCC stood behind their work and paid for the new engine which was installed at a Dodge dealer. The van runs fine and you will be buying a van with 27,500 miles, but with only about 18,000 miles on the engine.
