Description

We have had an amazing year in this vintage trailer, having no prior experience in camping, and getting the experience to travel the country and visit national parks. We have been so happy with this trailer as it arrived, put our own touches on it, and are ready to pass it on to the next adventurous folks who love a vintage trailer and all the quirks that come with it!Here are some details from the owners we bought it from in June 2020:*Purchased as a gutted shell in 2018*Completely restored it *Took down skins, ran new electrical wires, plumbing, and propane lines*Added reflectix for added insulation on top of the original spray foam insulation which was in good shape*Replaced the subfloor*New belly pan insulation*Rust on frame was grinded down and painted with rust-resistant paint*Laid new vinyl plank flooring*30 gallon fresh water tank is under the queen sized bed and fills from the front of the trailer. Filtered with a ClearSource water filtration system.*4 - 6 volt batteries (410 amp hours). It also has a Renogy 2500 watt inverter and the electrical panel. There are 400 watt Renogy flex-solar panels mounted on top of the trailer. *Dometic oven, a large deep sink with brass faucet and redwood countertops. *Dometic 6cubic foot fridge/freezer that runs on gas, electric, or 12volt (3-way fridge). *Precision Temp Tankless Water heater *Original tub with brass shower head, a sink, and a NatureHead compost toilet. *2 Maxxair fans and a Dometic AC & Wave6 Propane heater Here are some of the things we did the trailer in our time with it:*Added power tongue jack*Took down the bunk beds to create 2 twin sized beds so that it opened up the “hallway” more*Repainted the interior walls*Replaced an outside compartment door that fell off with an aluminum cover that leads to a compartment below one of the twin beds (easily accessible)*Scraped and refinished the bathtub and sink*Added a vent, water sensor and a gauge to the water tank *Added switch panel to control the water, which also added USB outlets and has 2 remaining switches for future adds*Purchased a new queen sized mattress and cut it to fit the bed area (Zinus 8 inch Gel infused Green Tea Memory Foam)*Bought a 66 Avion for parts and switched out the door.
