We purchased this beautiful 1172 Lance early in the spring as our dream camper and an upgrade from an older Lance 1181 that we also enjoyed very much. We have had it out several times and I have had the opportunity to upgrade the storage options quite a bit. We also enhanced this unit with a BRAND NEW carefree of Colorado acrylic awning. It has only been rolled out twice. Once when we got it installed and today when I took these pictures. This awning has the auto roll up options and can operate from either the inside control,a fob, or your phone. The onan generator has less than 10 hrs on it and runs perfectly. I have installed a new king tv antenna. The radio and DVD player work flawlessly as does the tv. The queen size bed is very comfortable. Long story short, this camper is built to the exacting quality standards of Lance and has been very well maintained with all the features that come standard on a unit of this caliber.
The reason we are selling is that I have turned up with some heart issues and since I won't be to continue several of the shop activities I had planned in my retIrement we are selling our property and moving into an rv full time (there's a lot more to the story but that's the gist of it). Please, if you're interested in a quality truck camper don't hesitate to look at this one. Only serious inquires please. This unit weighs north of 4000 lbs, so, no it won't fit on a short bed 1/2 ton. I'll be happy to take more photos if you need. Tie downs go with the deal and we can talk about the truck brackets. The truck is not for sale.
