The 40TD model has a unique and uncommon floor plan, with an efficiently laid out front kitchen area, inviting center lounge space and a comfortable and private rear bedroom suite layout. The spaces are organized in a way that just makes sense, unlike most motorhome floor plans that seem to be kind of random at best.

All of the spaces and utilities are useable with the slides in. There is a pic showing this in the gallery. This is a big deal because sometimes you may find yourself in a camping spot where an obstruction prevents the opening of one slide or the other, or you're just stopping for the night on the way somewhere. Pay attention to this as you look at different motorhomes because that’s not the case with many floor plans.

The Freightliner Evolution chassis design features air bag suspension for a super smooth ride, on the level of a high-end luxury car. Independent front suspension permits a 60 degree front wheel cut angle for exceptional maneuverability. Anti-lock brakes with front discs, supplemented by a 2-stage diesel engine brake provide excellent braking and grade descent speed control even while towing and traveling through mountain passes.

Since this motorhome is a 2007 model year, there is no problematic emissions equipment or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) required, so the powerful 425 hp Cummins ISL is able to deliver max power and efficiency without being choked like later RVs with their extra emissions systems headaches & maintenance costs. Additionally, being a side radiator/intercooler design, you can tow a vehicle or trailer with peace of mind and not have to constantly worry about overheating.
