We purchased this Grand Design Solitude a year ago in May 2020 and have loved using it ever since. We especially love the super wide and open kitchen with a full island and Residential Refrigerator WITH Ice Makers, what a treat that has been! We upgraded our fifth wheel with a third 15,000 BTU A/C unit and never have to worry about hot summer days. We also made sure one of the A/Cs had a heat pump. It uses very very little propane even when it’s cold outside. One of my personal favorite features is the electric fireplace for ambiance and warmth on the cold winter nights. But by far, the best upgrade we added was our washer AND dryer, not a combo unit, installed at the dealership. We even have a reverse osmosis water filtration system in the kitchen for excellent drinking water. With excellent storage in combination with the large pantry and island, this fifth wheel makes cooking in the kitchen a breeze. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with an upgraded cooling mattress that rivals the best mattress we have had in any home. Our fifth wheel is even prepped for solar and generator.
