Description

This SR 300 36-ft Class A Diesel Pusher 340BH (3 bunk beds!) has been the BEST family RV I've ever seen. ONLY 31,517 miles. Our travel plans changed and we would rather have a family use this the way it was intended, rather than have it sit in a covered storage facility (see last photo). Easily fits a family of 8 and up to 10 when you put 2 slides out (the slides are super solid & robust) and use the bonus bunk above the cab (was a $2000 extra option). The Freightliner air ride suspension is really smooth. The Equalizer Systems Auto-Level jacks allow you to push one button inside on the driver's side and level the RV automatically when you arrive at your campsite after a long drive. The 2 A/C units (front & back) work perfectly and are efficient in Summer weather. The furnace runs on propane and heats the inside very quickly in winter weather. This is definitely a 4-season RV.

Extra bells and whistles include: Winegard Automatic Multi-Satellite TV Antenna, Boss Audio wireless headphone sets and systems for playing movies on all the TVs inside, $2000 worth of brand new tires put on last summer (we've only driven 6000 miles on them), and a Blue Ox flat tow system all ready to tow your vehicle. We towed our Jeep no problem this past summer and fall. The 300 hp Cummins diesel is powerful and gets a respectable 10 mpg when not towing and about 9 mpg when towing your vehicle. The Cummins Onan generator (great for camping off-grid) only has 326 hours on it and runs from the dieel fuel tank. We turned the front bunk system into a manual lowering and raising system after the left-side motor went out (right-side motor is fine). This can be fixed for $500. Front step needs some love. We use a foot stool that we like better anyway - with 3 kids going in and out all the time, an auto-rectracting step became a nuisance. We suggest using seat covers for the couch & dinette set. While the cushions themselves are very comfortable and in good shape, the thin, faux-leather covering is starting to peel (why do RV makers use this material for family vehicles?) It's fine the way it is, but if you truly desire covered cushions, it won't be hard or expensive to cover. Everything else is great. This is why we are selling this motorhome AS IS for $20,000 less than any other place. The original retail price 7 years ago was $232,000 - see photo.
