Up for sale is our beloved 2017 TAXA Cricket Trek. This trailer was purchased new in the spring of 2018 and has been lightly used since then. It’s been well-maintained and had the wheel bearings repacked in 2019. All plastic surfaces and the tent fabric have always had regular UV protectant applied to them and this trailer has had zero issues since purchase. Overall, it probably has about 6000 miles on it.

This model does have air-conditioning, which is amazing and can be used off-grid (see more below).

This trailer has a fully custom solar package. I highly recommend you watch the video to learn more about it, but here are the basics:

• Every single system in the camper can run off-grid. Yes, even the air conditioner, as long as it is sunny out. Few things beat getting back from a hot summer hike and getting to sit in a cooled camper in the middle of nowhere.
• Two 160W solar panels mounted to the roof for a total of 320W.
• Two Trojan T-105 flooded lead-acid batteries in the vented battery box. These have always been watered and well-maintained.
• AIMS 2000W pure-sine Inverter Charger with 30A automatic transfer switch.
• Outback Power FLEXmax 40A MPPT Charge Controller.
• Progressive Industries EMS-LCHW30 surge protector (hard wired into the mains connection).
• Victron Energy battery monitor measures the watts in and out of the batteries to give you an exact reading of how much power you have left in the batteries.
• Every circuit is fused and run with oversized wiring for the amperage it will experience.
• Even on cloudy days, you can run indefinitely with the fridge, lights, etc.

Overall, this system is extremely comprehensive and user-friendly. You basically just use the camper, never worry about power, and the system takes care of itself. It is pretty awesome. As for additional features, we are including some accessories (see photos). Everything you see in the pictures is included. We have also upgraded the lifting struts for the roof to better compensate for the increased weight of the solar panels. The shower tent and cassette toilet are both awesome and easy to set up/operate/clean.

There is also a Dometic fridge, which is incredibly efficient and has been rock solid at holding 37 degrees even on the hottest of days.
