  • Do some research and you'll find that the GM 6.5 diesel had one major issue. The fuel pump driver module doesn't cool well and fails all the time. With the PMD relocated to front electric panel on a heat sink, this engine is a workhorse. This is the same engine that was used from 1994 - present in the AM General, HMMWV
