Let’s start with my pride and joy, the 2000 Ford Excursion. This SUV is all ¾ ton truck with 3 row leather seating, and lots of metal around you. Options include ps/pw tilt wheel, power driver’s seat, a/c, 4 wheel drive with manual locking hubs, upgraded Pioneer touchscreen stereo, cb radio with amplifier, 360 degree lights, custom roof rack with 2 air tight military storage containers that include camping gear, new queen air mattress, and bedding, telescoping ladder. The truck is powered with the Triton V10 motor this is the third one that I have owned and I have never had any issues. When it comes to maintenance and preventive maintenance, I am extremely proactive. I like to replace things before they break and use only OEM parts, (Ford/Motorcraft). I perform oil changes every 3,000 miles using Castrol full synthetic oil and at the same time, change the transmission fluid with Valvoline full synthetic. Yes, I know it’s overkill, but I know that my oils are clean every time I drain a pan. Within the last 20,000 miles I have replaced the front leaf-spring and anti-sway bar bushing and links, front rotors and pads. I also performed a tune up which included a new in-tank fuel pump, fuel filter, injectors, plugs and coils. This is one of the best trucks I have ever owned. It seats 8 comfortably and when you pull the 3rd row seat out, you can sleep 2 adults comfortably on a queen mattress with room to spare.Now, on to the trailer. It is a 2019 R-Pod model 179. It is 20’ long and has a 2 burner gas stove, 110/gas refrigerator, convection microwave, a/c and heat, wet head, satellite with wally box, the original mattress was upgraded to a 10” thick memory foam with built-in springs mattress. It also has a separate pillow topper. The tv has been upgraded to Visio and stereo is upgraded to JVC touchscreen that also plays dvds. Trailer has 1 electric slide out, power awning, power tongue jack, rechargable dyson vacuum, outdoor shower and speakers, led porch and awning lights, prewired for solar.
