Description

After exploring the United States and Canada over the past four years in our Class B+ RV (measuring 25’ long, 8’ wide), we are putting it up for sale. It is the sold-out “Libero” by Leisure Travel Vans of Canada, built atop a Chevy Express Van cutaway chassis. This particular gas-powered model, popular for its reliability and ease and affordability of maintenance, was discontinued because, according to the LTV factory folks, Chevy couldn’t reliably keep up its supply of the Express Van chassis.
We purchased the RV used in 2017, and today it is still considered a youngster, with just 48,445 miles. We have the original owner’s manual and service records. The Libero is especially popular for its terrific floor plan, with a full-size bed in the back corner, separated from the midship by an accordion divider. It allows my wife to sleep late when I get up early for coffee in the galley, or she stays up late to finish a book and I'm already snoring in the back. The “B+” designation is because it offers another 16 inches or so of width compared to conventional camper vans, which really opens up the coach.
So it comes down to this: It’s super easy to drive, super-fun to camp in with its fridge/freezer, microwave/convection oven, bathroom with shower stall, has A/C and a furnace, lots of storage space, a good sound system, skylight, windows all around and a comfy bed that can stay as a bed all day long. This perfectly sized RV will take you places that are off-limits to larger rigs. And with its generator, you can really go off the beaten path. What better way to get out out of the house — for a couple days or a couple months — for fresh air and beautiful scenery while staying every night at your own place?
What's wrong with the RV? Well, on the back left bumper the fiberglass is cracked. The bumper itself is structurally fine and rather than pay a ton of money to re-do the fiberglass, it would be cheaper to cover the crackle with a fun bumpersticker. Among this RV's perks: an awning & backward-looking camera and lots of storage!
(This rig technically can accommodate 4 sleepers, but two of them would have to convert the dinette table into a bed nightly; this van is at its sweetest with 1 or two occupants. And we chose a rig with no slidouts to avoid too many moving parts that could go haywire.)

We are asking $69,900. We live in the Pacific Northwest (near Olympia, WA) so you’ll have some beautiful scenery for your maiden voyage as you drive it home.
