Free delivery lower 48!

In covered storage since 1983, a very sound but very dirty 1963 silver streak.  MUCH higher quality build than an Airstream, closer to a Spartan but much lighter.  It’s all original and relatively untouched.  It will need all the obvious things like water tank, new pex lines, water pump, bedding, propane tanks and lines, window covering, batteries, inverter...the things to modernize these as everything is original; these things are inexpensive relative to what structural repairs on these can cost.  BUT, the restore will be pretty easy since it was stored dry so the cabinets and floors are not rotten and the frame is not rusty.  There’s a bit of rust where the propane tanks were on the tongue but it’s an easy fix.  There’s also a tiny bit of rot in the plywood where moisture was finding it’s way down the heater vent, but an easy/quick fix with some epoxy as it’s not structural.  

Most importantly, in 1963 these were delivered with a high polish.  Since the exterior was stored dry, it will be many many MANY fewer hours to polish out the outside than a newer silver streak (1964 onward) or really any airstream which weren’t delivered with high polish so are hundreds of hours to polish out.  If you want an amazing retro camper, this is absolutely the one to buy.  It’s way ahead on the build than 99% of the trailers out there.  

Recently paid $5500 for brand new axles, wheels, tires, bearings and electric brakes.  She’s a dream to tow...you don’t need some huge truck.

I’m super sad to let it go, but my life has changed and I no longer have the backyard this beauty was going in.  I was going to AirBnB it.
