2008 Palomino Sabre (a Forest River product) for sale in “as is” condition. This is a 30 ft., 30 amp 5th wheel, single owner. It is considered a light weight couple’s unit, towable by ¾ ton pickup. Rig is clean and in mostly good repair as described below. The rig comes with 6 new tires, 4 on the trailer and two spares. Things have been fixed or replaced as issues have come up over the years. Repairs and replacements within the last three years include: New decals and freshening of the exterior, new refrigerator, new converter, new air conditioner (2 years ago). The floors are solid, no weak spots. There are two slides and both work well. The bathroom, kitchen and bedroom all are fully functional with no issues. A problem developed in a corner of one of the slides, which was immediately repaired to a high standard last year. All windows and interior cabinets, counters, sofa, and dining table are in good shape. Everything works well. gas oven, stovetop, small microwave, small smart TV. Queen bed in master, sofa makes into a full size bed. Two of four chairs are shown with the dining table. The other two are available, just removed for extra space. There is a ceiling fan and day/night shades. Two cosmetic issues remain and are evident in the photos. (Photos are all current!). We had three tires blow out last year, causing some body damage around the wheel area. The rig was in service for repair of those areas, but the RV service center can’t get the J panels right now to complete the repair. This is due to Covid related shortages. It’s been waiting since June, but eventually those parts will become available and the repairs could be made. We ultimately bought a new rig and have decided to sell this one in “as Is” state rather than wait around further. Also, when we did the exterior updates, the awning was removed, as the fabric needed to be replaced. This repair has not been done, but the awning is available and will go with the trailer. We rarely used the awning which is why it never was replaced. The Sabre has been appraised for consignment at $14,000 after repairs, but we are offering it “as is” for $9500. The price is negotiable within reason.
