Description

Beautiful AIrstream Tradewind. I am the 2nd or 3rd owner. The trailer is very straight and has no leaks. Mostly original except 20 years ago we had all cushions reupholstered and removed the carpet to replace it with floor tile. We also installed a new Dometic dual function electric/propane refrigerator. The rest is original including unique details on the overhead cabinets.

For the last 20 years the trailer has had 2 miles per year on it as it travelled down the road one mile between its winter storage and summer use locations. I just replaced all four tires and greased all the wheel bearings. It is in great shape for a trailer of this vintage. It could have its window and door screens replaced and a few cosmetic items here and there. I replaced the awning when I bought it but haven't used it in 19 years.

The trailer has spent its entire life in N CA.Very open floor plan with couch pulling out to make full bed and the dinette benches pull out to make 2 single beds. Plenty of cabinet space overhead, 5 closets and many pull out bins under couches. This is the "new" widebody version that was released in 1969 and was the last year Airstream was still owned by its founder, Wally Byam. This trailer uses solid wood cabinets and doors throughout- not composite board with woodgrain stickers like the 70s and later Airstreams. I believe it is lighter weight than its later counterparts.

I have this priced low for a quick sale. Lots more info and pictures to share please contact me if interested. I will only contact folks who send me their phone number to call them, sorry about that too many scammers.
