Description

Truck camper has sold, still SELLING 2008 F-450 King Ranch.
The truck is a 2008 King Ranch F-450 with EVERY option with about 72,000 miles on it. Due to this truck having all original EPA and CARB emissions parts I do oil changes every 3,000 miles instead of the recommend 10,000 to help make sure I don’t get fuel dilution. The owner before me did oil changes every 3,000 miles as well and never towed anything more than a small horse trailer with it.
This truck can handle close to 6000 lbs of payload stock, and with the upgrades I did (plus you could still add air suspension) this truck will carry any camper, even the heavy tripple slide campers.

Upgrades include;-Torklift brand frame mounted truck camper tie downs (fame mount is night and day for decreasing sway on the road. The parts alone were well over $700.)
-Torklift “StableLoad” for upper overload spring activation ( I just bought these once I got the heavy camper to help with the ride, so they are brand new and were a little over $300 for the parts)
.- I have a Fifth Wheel hitch attached to the frame and a never used 26k lbs hitch to go in the bed of the truck (this whole kit was over $1000 for the parts, it is a Husky 26k lbs hitch, it has never been used because I bought this camper instead of a fifth wheel.)
-The tires are only a few years old and have roughly 15,000 miles on them and tread is really good, especially on the rear.
-I also have a Leer fiber glass canopy to go over the back when the camper is not on and that was over 2,000 new. (That would be included in the deal, without the truck I have no need for it.)
-- Banks power, Six gun tuner, 5" Idash display, upgraded Banks exhaust system, Upgraded air intake with washable filter.
I typically drive in power level 3(with weight) 4 (empty), I find those modes get me the best mileage, if you don’t want to tune the truck for more power and just get better mileage level two is an economy mode only. With all the work I have done to the truck I get around 15mpg empty and 11-12 fully loaded with the camper 5500 lbs camper, I towed a 16,000 lbs boat for a friend once and I got 9.5 mpg, which to be honest surprised me I expected much worse.
With all the upgrades I get over 450 hp and close to 900 lb-ft of torque, this is comparable to the modern day trucks.
