Description

SOLD!

I have a 1994 Chalet Alpine A-Frame Pop-Up trailer that my family has grown out of. This trailer has always been stored in my carport and out of the elements. This is the perfect time to invest in a camping trailer as it has so many more uses.
1. Logically it can be used to camp in. Just hook up to a car and go.
2. Use it as a work from home office during quarantine.
3. Use it as a self-isolation unit for integrating others into your quarantine group. 7-14 days is all it takes.
4. Use it to get away from those you are quarantined with! Sleep in the driveway in the comfort of your very own living quarters.
5. A fun project, you can do this: https://www.thepopupprincess.com/reader-features/a-frame-camper-makeover/

The trailer is in pretty good condition for being a 1994. I fixed a lot of the normal problems that come up with these.

Already done:
1. I upgraded to a new 5000# truck axle with ez-lube bearings and drum brakes.
2. Replace the tongue with a surge brake tongue to engage the drum brakes. Makes it easier to tow down passes.
3. I did the axle flip for more ground clearance in preparation for more off road tires. Never got to the off road tire part.
4. Has new tires and rims as a part of the new axle.
5. Moved the spare tire under the trailer.
6. Put in Pergo floors to cover up the old vinyl floors.
7. Converted the gaucho to a hinged full size bed with memory foam mattress.
8. Replaced the charge controller/converter with a WFCO 30amp.
9. Trailer still has the table and bed combo in front, all in working order.
10. Installed reversible heat controlled fantastic fan.
11. Solar panel charge controller and connector for boon docking.
12. Changed all lights bulbs to LED's.
13. Stove works.
14. Heater works.
15. Dual USB Chargers by door.
16. Voltage meter next to the WFCO charger/inverter
17. Blue Sea Fuse Block on main power.
18. Fixed entry way soft spot.

Did not finish:
1. I have all new weather striping to replace the current but never got to it.
2. The fridge has never worked, really did not care as it was to small anyway.
3. I wanted to paint the frame again because of road rust.
4. Fix drain outlet that busted off.
5. Soft spot passenger rear left corner, non-traffic area.

Specs:
Length: 15.6 feet long.
Dry Weight: ~1800 lbs (higher because of new axle).

I have all of the documentation for everything since the date of purchase in 1994.
