Description

Listing a 2003 Airstream Safari 28 foot with factory slideout. In very good condition. Have owned this camper for the last 10 years. All functions work as per the manufacture. From electrical/lighting, plumbimg, heating, AC, and all holding tanks (fresh, black, grey) all work as normal.

Interior is in very good condition. All fixtures are original. The only change was recovering the dining seats. Couch fabric is original and in excellent condition. Factory carpet and cork style floor covering in the kitchen, hallway and restroom.

Outer aluminum skin is in good condition, Typical clear coat is flaky at the center seam. Still no leaks anywhere. Has a small dent on the curbside rear from a plastic garbage can on a windy day.

The Airstream has newer factory aluminum wheels and tires from a 2020 takeoff. Tires have about 1000 miles on them. Wheel bearings and brakes have been serviced. 2 new deep cycle marine grade batteries were installed this weekend. Camper pulls perfect with no sway and hook up plug works perfect to power all running lights and brakes on the camper.

In the Airstream family the slideout units were only available in the Safari and Classic models for a few years. They were too expensive to produce and were discontinued. I like this model because it gives the user more square feet in the living area which is where we spend most of the day. With 2 kids and a wifey the camper is very comfortable. Everyone has their own space. The slide works as designed and has never given me a problem. The seal boot around the slide is soft and in excellent shape. The interior pictures show the slide closed. When open it almost doubles the space.

The camper is all sorted out and has given my family great memories of chasing racoons and roasting smores . We use the camper about 12 times a year and the farthest it has taken us was the Grand Canyon. The trailer has a clean title and is currently registered and insured.

Asking $38,500 obo for a classic and iconic home on wheels away from home. It tows great, cooks and chills our food and is super comfy and secured when daddy is snoring. And you have to get use to camping neighbors wanting to see the inside of a rare slide unit. Call or text 415.412.2990 for more info. Thanks!
