Description

Are you looking for a rent-free life on the road? A home for festival season? A sweet weekend adventure rig? Meet the vagabond bus.

She’s a 2007 International Navistar. Diesel with 138k miles (they run in the upwards of 500k miles, so she has a lot of life left in her.) I’ve put in the all work and lived off-grid in her for 1.5 years, so she’s all ready for you to up and go on your next adventure. She’s a school bus so she’s been well maintained. I have copies of records of the maintenance I’ve done as well as a 73-point DOT inspection. It’s registered as a motorhome so you do not need a CDL license. Brand new mud/ snow tires and tune up/ oil change in April ‘20. Bus has been parked since then as I am in NYC on a travel nurse assignment for COVID. Pair of snow chains included. I’ve lived off grid in all climates. Taken the bus coast to coast across America and back and few times so mechanically she is sound.

The bus-Floors and walls are insulated.

Electricity- completely off grid- 750w inverter for AC/DC power. Heat- propane powered with Mr. Buddy while bus is off, while running use of the bus heating system. Carbon monoxide alarm in place also. Cooking- oven/ 2 range burner that is powered also by propane. Lights- bus has 2 batteries, have had no issues on batteries running low to power bus ran lights, also have AA LED lights in bedroom, bathroom area/ living area if you’re going to be parked for days.Sorry- no AC. I do have a fan that I use to sleep with at night. Let’s be honest though, you’re not thinking about #buslife for the AC. You’re doing it for the adventures outside of the bus. Queen size bed memory foam bed with storage underneath. Ski locker at end of bed. Closet also has partition door that functions for privacy and to keep heat in bedroom during winter. Curtains all hung by magnet, easy to place/ remove for privacy.Bathroom/ kitchen- sink with 2- 6 gallon tanks of water. No shower- I had 2 gym memberships &always had access this way.
