Description

2016 Winnibago Sunova ItascaWe are the second owners of this Motorhome. Our goal was to visit as many of the National Parks and historical places of this great country as possible.  My husband was born and raised here in Myrtle Beach and worked in the tourism business all his life. We owned a tour boat business for 22 years. After I retire from nursing and we sold the tour boat we decided to sell our motor yacht and cover every state. WE DID!!! Except Hawaii and Alaska. He wanted to see all the places he had read and studied about being a historian. We both felt so blessed to have seen so much of America!!!!Here is a list of some things we ask about when we bought and some things we added to the motorhome as we did live and called it “Home” for almost 2 years.

  • My number one request!! A Washer and Dryer! You lose the closet space but keeping my clothes clean and not having to use a campground laundry was important to me.

  • Security system: We have always had one on our homes I felt that the motorhome (and our motor yacht as well) needed one too. Home is where you park it !! And you never know where that may be. FYI the system is a Simplysafe system and you can not connect to their alarm system when you travel, but I always said at least the alarm would be heard and someone would respond!

  • Direct TV: We decided TV was important enough to us to go to the expense of this system.

  • Good drinking water: We installed a water filter system at the sinks in the  kitchen and bathroom that has a 2 micron filter. Plus you don’t have the added weight of carrying bottled water and still have the same great taste no matter where your adventures take you.

  • Service Records: We had the oil changed every 5000-6000 miles without fail using synthetic oil which suggest 10,000 oil changes. Also the generator was serviced every 100 hours.

  • Sleeping Quarters: The master bedroom has a King size sleep number bed. The couch in the living room makes into a full size bed. Sleeps 2 people.     Also there is a drop down twin bed over the the captains chairs up front. It’s a Nice memory foam mattress.

  • Tires: New front tires only have 4,000 on them.

  • WiFi Booster: Internet at most campgrounds and public wifi is not safe or very slow. I purchased a Pepwave device. It’s located on the side window by the recliner, and all the setup information is in the table cabinet. It does increase your internet strength. But most of all it keeps your computers and phones safe from viruses and scams.
